To meet the requirement for high quality, true image reproduction and color, the IPLEX FX features an optimised optical system and WiDERTM Wide Dynamic Range* image processing.
This Olympus-unique technology allows bright, contrast- balanced images to be produced across the entire depth of field.
*The WiDERTM image processing algorithm greatly expands the dynamic range to bring out details in shadows and highlights and allow much more accurate inspection.
New LED illumination with SmartTipTM tip adapters
Now the light source is in the SmartTipTM optical tip adapter, with LED's providing the illumination, meaning lamp changes are no longer required.
This revolutionary new design contributes to the reduction in overall system size and power consumption, while maintaining the ability to change the direction of view and field of view characteristics of the system.
Additionally, Hi-Beam mode boosts illumination up to 1.5x for expanded inspection capability.
High resolution LCD
The display monitor of a video system is a critical element of the overall image quality. In understanding this, the IPLEX FX is fitted with a 6.3" LCD monitor which delivers sharp, color-rich images thanks to its XGA high resolution format and exceptional dynamic range performance.
